Russia has requested that the United States cease its pursuit of an oil tanker, identified by maritime groups as the Bella 1, which has been fleeing U.S. Coast Guard efforts in the Atlantic Ocean for nearly two weeks. The tanker was reportedly heading to Venezuela.
