Ludhiana's justice system experienced consolidation and reform in 2025, despite a high pendency of 1,94,504 cases. Key achievements included the disposal of 69,231 cases, the establishment of 14 new courts, and increased use of Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) methods, settling 394 cases. Efforts were also made to digitize court processes, with seminars on e-filing organized for legal professionals.
