Karnataka's government has launched a comprehensive agricultural policy focusing on sustainability, technology, and institutional support to boost farmer prosperity. Key initiatives include a Rs 100 crore Chief Minister's Agricultural Expansion Scheme for recycling and marketing agricultural waste, the Krishi Vistara programme to enhance soil quality, and the Sasya Sanjeevini initiative for early pest detection using biological controls. Pilot Raita Malls will provide essential inputs, while AI upgrades to the Farmer Call Centre aim to deliver timely advice on weather and markets.
