The Rohtak Road storm water drain project in West Delhi is nearing completion, aiming to alleviate long-standing waterlogging issues in Kirari and surrounding areas. Initiated in February 2025 with a budget of approximately ₹114 crore, the project involves constructing reinforced concrete drains spanning over 18,000 metres. About 16,000 metres are finished, with 2,200 metres under construction. The upgraded infrastructure is expected to improve storm water management during peak monsoon periods, benefiting multiple localities along the stretch from Nangloi Metro Station to Tikri Border.
