Rival Sunni leader Kanthapuram A.P. Aboobacker Musliyar will lead a 16-day 'Kerala Yatra' from January 1 to 16, commencing in Kasaragod and concluding in Thiruvananthapuram. The yatra, themed 'With Humans', aims to commemorate the Samastha centenary and propagate its ideas. It will traverse each district of Kerala and pass through Tamil Nadu's Gudalur. Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan and Opposition Leader V.D. Satheesan are expected at the valedictory function. Musliyar stated Samastha had no role in recent election defeats and no immediate political ambitions.
