Villages in Rohtak district are set to receive permanent relief from waterlogging issues with the Haryana State Drought Relief and Flood Control Board approving 29 flood protection schemes totaling over Rs 53 crore. These projects aim to resolve chronic drainage problems affecting farmland and residential areas, which have previously delayed or prevented crop sowing. The approved schemes include laying underground pipelines and constructing protective walls to improve drainage and reduce future waterlogging risks in affected villages.
