The Kerala Cabinet, led by Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan, has recommended convening the 16th session of the 15th Kerala Legislative Assembly starting January 20. The meeting also approved the creation of 159 jobs at the Kochi Cancer Research Centre, 12 Scientific Officer posts at the Forensic Science Laboratory, and 22 posts for a new bench of the Kerala Administrative Tribunal in Thalassery. Additionally, retirement age for KAMCO and Kerala Livestock Development Board employees will be fixed at 60, and eligible part-time contingent employees in various local government institutions will be regularized.
