
The Indian Army has commenced two joint military exercises: the 16th edition of 'Vajra Prahar' with the US Army at Bakloh, Himachal Pradesh, running from February 24 to March 16, and the seventh edition of 'Dharma Guardian' with Japan's Ground Self-Defense Force at Chaubattia, Uttarakhand, until March 9. Vajra Prahar focuses on special forces operations in mountainous terrain, while Dharma Guardian emphasizes joint operations in semi-urban environments. Both exercises aim to enhance interoperability, joint mission planning, and tactical coordination, reinforcing India's defence partnerships with the US and Japan.
