Maharshi Dayanand University (MDU) has banned three students from its campus for two years for allegedly entering the Vice-Chancellor's residence on September 19, 2025. The university cited the students' "undesirable and unwarranted act" as the reason for the ban. In response, student groups, including Bhagat Singh Chhatra Sangathan and SFI, have launched an indefinite protest against the university's decision, demanding the ban be lifted.
