A 35-year-old man, identifying himself as Ishrat from Sargodha, Pakistan, was apprehended by Border Security Force (BSF) personnel at the Rajasthan border. He was found with Pakistani currency and a knife. Officials suspect he may be mentally unstable, with further medical examination and interrogation by the Joint Interrogation Centre planned to determine his background and the circumstances of his border crossing.
