Nagaland University Awards Degrees to 6,884 Students at 8th Convocation

Nagaland University held its 8th convocation, awarding degrees to 6,884 students, including 107 PhD scholars and 54 gold medalists. Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar, in his first visit to Nagaland, encouraged youth to pursue national services and contribute to nation-building, highlighting regional development initiatives like PM-DevINE and the Frontier Nagaland Territorial Authority agreement. Vice-Chancellor Jagadish Patnaik emphasized the university's strong research portfolio, with numerous funded projects and faculty recognized among top global scientists, underscoring its role in academic and regional growth.
