A pigeon with red and yellow identification rings bearing names and numbers was intercepted near the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu's Akhnoor sector. The bird, marked with black bars on its wings, was found in Kharah village and handed over to police for investigation into potential use for long-distance communication. While authorities have not linked it to terror activity, its proximity to the LoC has heightened security vigilance. A separate 'Pakistan Zindabad' balloon was also found in the Samba district.
