A Jammu and Kashmir sessions court acquitted three men accused of terror-related activities, citing significant shortcomings in the prosecution's evidence and procedural lapses. The court found the prosecution failed to prove beyond reasonable doubt that the accused were in possession of recovered weapons and ammunition. Discrepancies in apprehension, recovery, chain of custody, and witness identification were noted, leading to the acquittal. The accused were arrested in Srinagar in October 2022.
