Over 22 lakh job seekers are registered with Rajasthan's employment offices, with Jaipur having the highest number at 2.51 lakh, according to RTI data from the Directorate of Employment. Despite significant private sector growth, government sector recruitment through these offices has reportedly ceased in the past five years. Private placements remain limited, with only a few hundred candidates placed annually. The largest share of registered candidates belongs to the Other Backward Classes category, followed by general, Scheduled Castes, and Scheduled Tribes.
