The Assam Cabinet approved a 115.11 crore loan from Nabard for infrastructure development in four districts. Amendments to the Assam Police Manual were also approved to allow armed and unarmed personnel to compete for promotion to assistant sub-inspector. Additionally, the cabinet sanctioned the settlement of 732 government land proposals under Mission Basundhara 3.0 in Kamrup (Metro) district for indigenous families, and 168 proposals under Mission Basundhara 2.0.
