Bengaluru Authorities Recover Rs 27 Lakh from Defaulters Ahead of Property Auction

The Bengaluru South City Corporation announced an auction targeting 50 properties with outstanding tax dues totaling around Rs 1.1 crore in Bommanahalli. Ahead of the auction, 14 property owners cleared dues amounting to over Rs 27 lakh, leading to their properties being withdrawn from the auction list. Despite the auction proceeding for the remaining 36 properties, no bids were received. Authorities plan to re-auction these properties as part of ongoing efforts to recover pending taxes citywide.
