
Delhi's public transportation is slated for a significant upgrade in 2026 with the opening of three new Delhi Metro corridors, including extensions of the Pink and Magenta Lines and a new Golden Line. These additions, part of the Phase-IV expansion, will add 112.4 km and 94 stations. The city will also see the opening of its first double-decker viaducts, integrating Metro lines with road flyovers. Additionally, the 82km Delhi-Ghaziabad-Meerut RRTS corridor is expected to open soon, enhancing regional connectivity.
