Meanwhile, the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) factions led by Ajit Pawar and Sharad Pawar, following significant losses in Pune municipal elections, have decided to contest these rural elections together. The NCP clarified that discussions focused on election strategy without addressing faction reunification.
