
The Ministry of Defence has cleared proposals worth Rs 79,000 crore, including significant procurements for the Indian Army and Air Force. For the Army, this includes loiter munition systems, lightweight radars, and long-range guided rockets (120 km) for the Pinaka MLRS, alongside a drone detection system. The Air Force will receive automatic take-off landing recording systems, Astra MK2 missiles, and SPICE-1000 guidance kits to enhance training and precision strike capabilities.
