
Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan advocated for integrated farming methods to enhance farmers' sustainable economic productivity, especially in light of climate change and natural disasters. Speaking at a program in Nashik, he emphasized that even small landholders can benefit by incorporating complementary businesses like poultry, animal husbandry, sericulture, fish farming, and horticulture. The government is also focused on developing climate-resilient crop varieties.
