
The Nagaland Political Affairs Committee (PAC), chaired by Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio, met to discuss the long-standing Naga political issue and proposed forming a 'Naga Common Platform' to unite civil society groups. Deputy Chief Minister T R Zeliang emphasized the need for a single apex body representing all Naga communities to present a unified position, urging tribal hohos to encourage political factions to unite. No formal resolution was adopted, but efforts to achieve a tangible outcome this year were affirmed.
