Telangana CM Launches 99-Day Plan to Improve Welfare Scheme Implementation

Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy has initiated a 99-day action plan starting in March to ensure welfare schemes reach all eligible beneficiaries. He directed officials to use facial recognition technology to remove ineligible recipients, citing the removal of about three lakh ineligible pension beneficiaries. The plan includes raising awareness about government programs, promoting solar energy, improving education and healthcare linkages, and enhancing safety measures in transport and educational institutions. The Chief Minister emphasized strict monitoring and accountability throughout the initiative.
