
The Delhi government has proposed procuring 3,330 additional electric buses to enhance its public transport fleet and reduce vehicular pollution. The proposal, sent to the Centre's Convergence Energy Services Limited (CESL) under the PM E-DRIVE Scheme (Phase-2), includes buses of varying sizes (7, 9, and 12 meters) for diverse city routes, from narrow streets to major corridors.
