Rahul Gandhi Visits Sivagiri Math in Kerala During Two-Day Trip

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, on a two-day visit to Kerala, visited the Sivagiri Math at Varkala on March 7, where he was welcomed by Swami Sathchidanda, president of the ashram founded by social reformer Sree Narayana Guru. Gandhi paid respects at the guru's samadhi and toured the Math. On the previous day, he attended an event in Kollam marking the centenary of a meeting between Mahatma Gandhi and Sree Narayana Guru, accompanied by party leaders including K.C. Venugopal and MLAs P.C. Vishnunadh and Chandy Oommen.
