
The Indian Army commissioned 626 new officers during passing out parades at the Officers Training Academies in Chennai and Gaya. At OTA Chennai, 345 officer-cadets, including 27 women and four foreign trainees, completed their training, with the batch also earning certifications in IT and Cyber Security through a partnership with SRM Institute of Technology. Awards were presented to top cadets, and senior officers emphasized the importance of leadership and addressing security challenges. OTA Gaya commissioned 281 officers from the technical stream.
