The Thane Municipal Corporation election, scheduled for 2025-26, is nearing completion of its preparations. Election Officer Saurabh Rao announced that 2,013 polling stations will be set up across 33 centers. These stations are being arranged ward committee-wise to ensure voter convenience, with specific numbers allocated to each ward. Enhanced security measures, including police deployment, CCTV surveillance, and separate entry/exit points, are being implemented to facilitate a safe and transparent voting process.
