Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath criticized opposition parties for their silence on violence against Hindus in Bangladesh, stating they are selective in their outrage and appeasement politics. Speaking at a Ramanandacharya birth anniversary event in Prayagraj, Adityanath asserted that those who divide society on religious lines pose a threat and warned that such divisions could lead to destruction, citing the situation in Bangladesh. He also praised the role of saints in uniting society and credited Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the Ram Mandir's construction.
