India Advises Nationals in Iran and UAE to Exercise Caution Amid Regional Tensions

Amid escalating tensions in the Middle East following recent US and Israeli military strikes on Iran, the Indian Embassy has advised its nationals in Iran and the UAE to exercise utmost caution, avoid unnecessary travel, and remain indoors where possible. In Iran, most Indian students in Tehran have been relocated to safer locations with arrangements for transport, food, and accommodation, while a few have declined relocation. Approximately 9,000 Indians, including students, remain in Iran amid heightened security concerns.
