
Himachal Pradesh Rural Development and Panchayati Raj Minister Anirudh Singh flagged off an anti-drug walkathon in Chopal, emphasizing the state's commitment to becoming drug-free. Hundreds participated, including youth and students, taking an oath against drug abuse. Singh also inaugurated development projects worth Rs 2 crore, including new Panchayat Bhawans, highlighting government efforts to improve rural infrastructure and amenities. He criticized the central government's changes to the MGNREGA program, stating it would weaken rural livelihoods.
