Ludhiana Municipal Corporation Reviews Development Proposals, Defers Sanitation Recruitment

The Finance and Contracts Committee (F CC) of Ludhiana Municipal Corporation discussed over 200 development proposals across two meetings, approving most related to roads, sewerage, and civic projects. Recruitment of sanitation workers and sewer cleaners was deferred pending formation of a committee to assess staffing needs and hiring procedures. The committee also debarred a contractor for project delays and approved purchasing vehicles to support anti-encroachment efforts. Remaining proposals will be reviewed in the next meeting.
