Election Commission of India Hosts IICDEM 2026 Conference on Democracy and Election Management

The Election Commission of India (ECI) is hosting the India International Conference on Democracy and Election Management (IICDEM) 2026 from January 21 to 23 at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi. The three-day event, organized with IIIDEM and International IDEA, brings together nearly 100 delegates from over 70 countries, including election management bodies, diplomats, and academic experts. The conference features 36 thematic sessions on electoral standards, innovations, and best practices, with participation from leading Indian institutions and bilateral meetings to enhance global electoral cooperation.
