
Ranjit 'Ricky' Singh Gill, an Indian-origin advisor to former US President Donald Trump, has received the US National Security Council's Distinguished Action Award. The award recognizes his role in brokering a ceasefire between India and Pakistan, a claim India has previously rejected. Gill, a lawyer and foreign affairs expert, previously served in advisory roles within the Trump administration, including overseeing the US Embassy relocation to Jerusalem.
