Between 2012-2017, the state added approximately 800 large factories, but faced challenges with law and order and bureaucratic delays hindering investor confidence. Post-2017, under a new leadership, the state reportedly added over 6,800 factories by 2023-24, with analysts attributing this surge to improved investor confidence and policy changes.
