The PRAGATI initiative, focused on Pro-Active Governance and Timely Implementation, has reportedly accelerated over Rs 85 lakh crore in projects by addressing inter-ministerial and inter-state coordination failures. Since 2014, 377 major projects have been reviewed, with nearly 94% of identified issues resolved. Officials state that direct review by the Prime Minister has created discomfort with inaction, altering bureaucratic incentives by assigning clear responsibility and demanding timely resolutions for stalled projects.
