
Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy requested Army officials to appoint special officers to address pending issues, including defence land allotment and the sanction of Sainik Schools. During a Civil-Military Liaison Conference, he highlighted Telangana's lack of Sainik Schools compared to other states over the past decade and urged shifting the Southern Command Center headquarters to Hyderabad. The state government expressed readiness to cooperate and has allocated 3,000 acres in Vikarabad for a Navy radar station.
