
The Odisha government has signed MoUs with the Indian Mountaineering Foundation and Aero Club of India to develop the state as a leading adventure tourism hub in Eastern India. Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida emphasized safety and introduced the Go-Adventure portal to streamline licensing and regulation. The state unveiled comprehensive Adventure Tourism Guidelines 2025 to ensure standards and accountability. Officials highlighted the sector's potential to boost local economies, create jobs, and align with Odisha's development goals for 2047.
