Karnataka Government Acts to Assist Kannadigas Stranded Amid Middle East Conflict

Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and Deputy Chief Minister D K Shivakumar have expressed concern for Kannadigas stranded in the Middle East amid escalating conflict between Israel and Iran. The state government is coordinating with the Resident Commissioner and the Ministry of External Affairs to ensure their safety, including setting up a dedicated helpline. Flight disruptions have left many, including students and legislators, stranded in Dubai and other Gulf countries. Siddaramaiah condemned the US attack on Iran and the killing of Ayatollah Khamenei, urging calm and coordinated efforts for safe repatriation.
