
Karnataka's government is actively monitoring the escalating conflict between Israel and Iran, prioritizing the safety of Kannadigas stranded in the Middle East, including Israel, UAE, Iran, and Qatar. Chief Minister Siddaramaiah announced a dedicated helpline to assist affected families, urging those in conflict zones to relocate to safer areas. Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar emphasized calm and urged the central government to protect stranded citizens. Around 150 students and several legislators are among those currently stranded, with efforts underway to provide support and coordinate with Indian missions.
