Kshitij Singhal, a 2014 batch IAS officer, has been appointed the new Indore Municipal Commissioner, replacing Dilip Kumar Yadav. This change follows the deaths of 15 people allegedly due to contaminated water, leading to Yadav's transfer and a show-cause notice to Additional Commissioner Rohit Sisonia. Singhal, known for his firm approach, previously served in Ujjain and a power distribution company. His wife, Sheetla Patle, is also an IAS officer.
