Macron Says France Provides Majority of Intelligence Support to Ukraine Amid U.S. Suspension

French President Emmanuel Macron stated that France now provides two-thirds of the intelligence support to Ukraine, largely replacing the United States, which reportedly suspended intelligence sharing in March 2025. Macron highlighted Europe's increased role in supporting Ukraine through a coalition of about 35 countries. However, Ukraine's former military intelligence chief Kyrylo Budanov emphasized continued critical dependence on U.S. intelligence, including satellite imagery and early warning systems. French and Ukrainian officials have not publicly confirmed these claims.
