
A Pakistan anti-terrorism court has sentenced seven individuals, including journalists and former army officials, to life imprisonment in absentia for alleged "digital terrorism" related to the May 9 riots. The court found them guilty of inciting violence via digital platforms and waging war against Pakistan. Convicts include YouTubers, anchors, and analysts, who were sentenced on two counts and fined PKR 500,000 for each offense, with additional jail time and fines for other provisions.
