The Delhi High Court has permitted the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) to terminate the contract of Pune-based Roadways Solutions India Infra Ltd (RSIIL) for delays in completing a 35-87 km stretch of the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway. The court emphasized public interest and timely delivery, allowing NHAI to invite fresh tenders and appoint another agency to finish the stalled section. RSIIL and NHAI are engaged in arbitration, with the contractor contesting the termination notice.
