CPI leaders criticized both ruling and opposition parties for focusing on this issue instead of addressing public health concerns, including the prevalence of unregulated medical shops and drug mafias. The laddu adulteration, involving synthetic or substandard ingredients confirmed by SIT probes, has affected millions and led to disruptions in legislative sessions.
