Uttar Pradesh Highlights Women’s Safety and Empowerment Initiatives on International Women’s Day

The state has expanded surveillance, increased women police personnel, and implemented welfare schemes supporting education, health, and economic participation. These measures are credited with reducing crimes against women and improving social indicators such as dropout and mortality rates.
