Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan Praises Tamil Civilisation During Pongal Celebrations

Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan participated in Pongal celebrations at IIT Madras, praising Tamil civilisation as a great civilisation. He highlighted that the harvest festival is celebrated across India under various names, such as Bihu in Assam, Lohri in Punjab, Uttarayan in Gujarat and Maharashtra, and Makar Sankranthi in the eastern region. Pradhan extended his greetings in Tamil and expressed happiness in sharing the festival with the Tamil community and others present.
