Union Home Minister Amit Shah is scheduled to attend the conclusion of a statewide yatra led by BJP State president Nainar Nagenthran in Pudukottai on January 4. Nagenthran's yatra, 'Thamizhagam Thalai Nimira Thamizhanin Payanam,' has traversed several districts. Shah will also meet with the party's high-level committee in Tiruchi to discuss the political situation in Tamil Nadu. The event is organized by the BJP, with AIADMK general secretary Edappadi K. Palaniswami having a prior engagement. Shah will also participate in Pongal celebrations in Tiruchi on January 5.
