The DGCA has transferred Ravinder Jamwal, who oversaw controversial Flight Duty Time Limitation (FDTL) norms and schemes for airlines, from his additional charge of the Flight Standards Directorate (FSD). Jamwal, Director of Operations, was moved to the Airspace and Air Navigation Services section. This transfer occurred shortly before a four-member panel, tasked with investigating recent IndiGo flight disruptions, submitted its report. Ashish Dubey has been appointed to replace Jamwal in the FSD role. The exact reasons for the abrupt transfer were not immediately known.
