Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar and NCP (SP) leader Supriya Sule shared a stage for the first time since the 2023 NCP split to release a joint manifesto for the Pune and Pimpri-Chinchwad civic elections. The manifesto focuses on urban development issues like water supply, traffic congestion, healthcare, and public transport, including a proposal for free bus and metro travel. Both factions, despite being in opposing state-level alliances, have united for these local polls to prevent vote division and consolidate their traditional stronghold.
