The Counter Intelligence Kashmir (CIK) has secured non-bailable warrants against four absconding operatives of the banned Hizb-ul-Mujahideen, including its chief Syed Salahuddin, in connection with a 1996 terror case. The warrants were issued by the Court of Additional Sessions Judge TADA POTA, Srinagar, under various sections of the Ranbir Penal Code, UAPA, and EIMCO Act. The accused are alleged to be involved in recruitment, coordination of militant activities, and propaganda through Kashmir Media Service. The case stems from investigations into terror-related activities and facilitation of militant training across the Kashmir Valley.
