Makrand Narwekar, brother of Maharashtra Assembly Speaker Rahul Narwekar and a BJP candidate, has declared assets totaling 124.4 crore for the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) elections. His declared assets show a significant increase of 1,868% compared to nine years ago. Narwekar's affidavit also lists liabilities of 16.68 crore. Other candidates, including Samadhan Sarvankar and Shraddha Jadhav, have also declared substantial assets.
